1.1 How we collect your personal information

We collect two types of information about you: (1) personally-identifiable information; and (2) information we collect by virtue of web analytics.

The personally-identifiable information we collect includes basic details, such as your name, contact details, your payment information and in some instances the names of other people traveling or enjoying the booking with you.

We will also collect information relating to your use of the Website including the transactions you carry out. This information is generally collected to administer your bookings, to ensure your receive the best service and to send you details of deals that we think might interest you. The Website might also ask you to provide a review of a service after your booking to help other users identify whether it might be what they are looking for. We may also from time to time operate referral programs to allow you to access special deals. Each of the services described above will require us to obtain further information from you.

We also offer a mobile app which collects and processes your personal data. Our app works in much the same way as the Website the sole difference being we are also able to obtain your location data. This allows us to send you more relevant content and offers through the app, including through push notifications.

The Website is integrated with various social media platforms. Where you use those social media services we may collect information about you from the social media provider.

We carry out web analytics on our Website which allow us to understand and optimise the operation of the Website (please see the “Cookies” section below for further details). We mainly use the information we collect about you to administer your bookings and to provide you with a high quality of service. We will also use the information to optimise the operation of the Website and to continue to improve our services.

You may from time to time need to provide us with information which relates to third parties, for example where you make a booking on behalf of someone else or where for example, you are making a group booking. Where you provide us with this information it is your responsibility to ensure that the person concerned has provided their prior approval and that they have agreed to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1.4 Sharing your personal information

(a)Sharing information with Suppliers

In order to process your bookings, we will need to share your reservation data with the relevant Supplier (for example the hotel operator, car hire company or flight operator as the case may be). This is central to our service and we will not be able to fulfil your booking without doing so.

The Website may allow you to exchange information directly with the Supplier once your booking is made, for example to manage your booking or to make queries.

Although the Website may provide links to websites of third parties, such as Suppliers, this Privacy Policy does not apply to any other website that you connect to from the Website. It is therefore important that you confirm the terms which apply before sharing information directly with a Supplier.

We require Suppliers to take steps to ensure that the personal information we share with them is kept secure and used in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, we will not be liable for any unauthorised use of your personal information by a Supplier. 

(b)Sharing information with other third parties

There are various third parties who may from time to time receive some of your personal information. These include third-party suppliers, advertisers, financial institutions and in some case the authorities. We may share your information in the following specific circumstances:
